Another classroom painting...the subjec was "Classic Cars".
I immediately thought, "Mustang, 'vette, Cobra" and the like. Eventually settled on a 1968 Charger ... my first "real" car and still my favorite of everything I've ever owned. Wish I still had it.
Anyway, not really done...I'm just bored with it and don't expect to finish it for a bit...I WILL get back to it...but I'm on to a couple interesting subjects at the moment...
Needs some shading under the car in the top right, black outline and shadow under the 'Charger' text, and some clean up on the tail lights to make them a bit better...they aren't 3-d enough as they are...oh, and the blue ribbon...started as something else...not really sure what I'm going to do with it at the moment...
Funny thing was...the rest of the class went for things like model t's and the really old stuff...heh heh...they were in an entire different era of "classic" than I was LOL!
Makes me wonder what my nephew will select as "classic" when he is my age...
