Introduction
This is not so much a story about riding, as it is about riders. Honor, loyality, old obligations, old wounds, and the magic to be found in the world...and on the road in particular...all contribute to the complexity of life. Seldom is anything clean cut or clearly black and white. People are complicated, their history and experience often pushing them this way and that. It's chaotic, sometimes, to the casual observer, but that observer often knows so little of what he actually sees...

I'll make things easier on everybody and call this one fiction.
